When a national engineering contractor needed a structural survey conducted at a military facility, our team was selected to support the effort. The project involved assessing trusses within a designated section of the facility to verify suitability for upcoming installation work. This required precise measurements, structural evaluation, and on-site coordination aligned with strict federal facility access protocols.
The work represented an important milestone, our first opportunity to support a Department of Defense–related project. Leveraging structural expertise and a qualified equipment operator, the team conducted targeted measurements and performed a visual evaluation of the surrounding areas to provide a comprehensive understanding of existing conditions.
The project required adaptability and tight coordination. Although access approvals were secured in advance, equipment availability caused a brief delay on the scheduled start day. Once resolved, field activities progressed efficiently, with the team completing measurements and the structural review safely and effectively. The project also resulted in expanded internal capabilities, as one team member gained a new operator certification during preparation for the work.
The successful execution of this structural audit strengthened the relationship with the contracting firm and confirmed our ability to support federal facility projects with precision, responsiveness, and reliability. The client expressed strong satisfaction and has since combined additional scopes of work into a follow-on project—further validating the value of dependable engineering partnership.
